Personal branding requires commitment, evidence and actions. Dave’s commitment is evident in his actions. I have an obscure personal connection to him through a friend and I’ve always admired his commitment to music and his fans. I’m a big fan of Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl. It takes years to build trust and only seconds to destroy it. When they do and you react contrary to your personal brand, your actions re-establish your brand.
